Season of Compassion

Helping Families This Season

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40

This November and December we’re making an effort to help families and individuals in our local communities who are experiencing financial and emotional hardship during this Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

The heart of Season of Compassion is to share what we have

with those who may need a little help.

Thank you for your generosity and continued support in sharing the spirit of giving this season!

Provide a Thanksgiving meal for a family of 4 by taking a “Family Church” bag provided at your Family Church campus and filling it with the suggested items on the shopping list found in each bag. Return the filled bag to your Family Church campus by Sunday, Nov. 12.

You can also take care of of Thanksgiving meal by giving online using the link below and giving toward “Season of Compassion” when prompted. $50 feeds a family of 4.

We believe every kid should get a great gift on Christmas. This year, on Christmas Eve, we’re giving away a toy to every kid at Family Church Kids. You can help make a kid smile by donating to provide a gift. $25 provides a gift for one child. Click the give button below and give to “Season of Compassion” when prompted.

Join us at one of our Christmas Eve services and make sure to check your kids in to an environment just for them where they will receive their gift.

Feed One is an initiative of our partners, Convoy of Hope. Through feed one, $10 feeds a child for an entire month. At each weekend service, you’ll have an opportunity to be a part of Feed One. Look for a Feed One packet at your campus.

Operation Christmas Child is about filling a shoebox full of gifts and goodies for others in need. Family Church Kids is using this project from Samaritan’s Purse to teach kids about giving. Ask a Family Church Kids team member at your campus about how you can help. The last day to turn in your filled shoe box is Sunday, Nov 19.
